bush in 30 seconds
Politics just aren’t my thing. I’ve never really understood politics and I don’t always try to pretend I understand how the government works and if politicians know what they’re doing.
So, in light of my apathy towards politics… Here’s some fun 30 second videos that are enlightening, funny at times and sad at others. I’m not advocating any side but always try to understand the crap that happens.
edit: By the way, after viewing these videos, don’t believe every comment made. Not all of these videos are displaying the whole truth, but rather versions of a truth.

bushin30seconds.org is sponsored by a very liberal group called Move On. One of these ads is so outrageous that even a Jewish advocacy group is complaining about it.
See the RNC reaction to this video.
Check the bottom of http://www.drudgereport.com/flash2m.htm for a reaction to one of these videos by the president of the American Jewish Congress. This is particularly interesting because, as a group, Jews are generally left wing.
Hey, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles comes out Feb 9th. Must go preorder if you can get anything cool for it. I think Kefka from Final Fantasy 3 should run for world dictator. He’s an evil little man and he’s laugh is scary too. How is that for politics?
How come your webpage doesn’t say I have a B-day comming up?
I knew you, Aren, would reply to this. I expected no less than for you to give some links to discredit some of these videos.
Dwayne, you need to fill in your birthday on your profile in order for you to show it on my website.
moveon.org is not a “very left wing” site. I know conservatives who are on their mailing list because they are concerned about the eroding of civil liberties in this country. If you want to see really left wing, go to http://www.whatreallyhappened.com
The ad comparing Bush to Hitler was somewhat in bad taste in addition to being cliché. But it was created by an individual for the contest (ie. MoveOn.org did not endorse it as an actual television ad), and did not make it into the finals. For other ads that don’t use logical fallacies to make the same point, take a look at the finalists ads.
BTW, there’s quite a few Jews in the conservative camp as well, mainly due to the Bush administration’s position on and funding of the
terrorism perpetuated bystate of Israel.Maybe moveon.org isn’t necessarily “very left wing”, yet it seems to be attacked often by the very right winged. Just from the few articles I’ve read on that site, I sense it to be leaning more towards the left. But, what do I know?
Any ad comparing someone to Hitler is a shame. I would still, however, take these other entertaining ads with a grain of salt.
