good times in Vegas

The Bellagio

Las Vegas is such a cool city! I can’t wait to go back, though I’m sure it’ll be a while. I did exactly what I planned on doing and a little more. It was a welcome break from everything, one I wish I could extend. But back to the real world of making money.

Photos of Vegas coming soon.

Oh, and I went to a Lakers game for Easter. I will have a few semi-blurry photos of a couple of celebs and other photos of players as soon as I can manage to make the time.

Vegas, baby!

I’ve been planning this for over a month and I can’t believe it’s already here. I’m going to Las Vegas on Sunday for a few days since my brother and sister-in-law are going to be there! Don’t know if I’ll do much or any gambling, but definitely going to check out the town for some nice photo ops. I hope I can find a night spot to get a good photograph of the strip. It would also rock to see some celebs, though I am not expecting anything along those lines. Two definite things: going to see the Hoover Dam again and going to do a drive by of the life size Simpsons house to see if it’s even in good condition.

I’ve gotta figure out between now and Sunday where to go for some photographs. Also, I’m really considering stopping by Death Valley on the way back from Vegas because it’s supposedly extremely beautiful with all of the flowers from a ton of rain. I really wish I had a friend to take with me cause this is so much to do by myself. Oh well… whatever.

middle of here and there

Vegas today, San Diego tomorrow. Our trip has been come and go, here and there, going to wherever we can to see whatever we can. It’s been a nice see everything trip and I am happy we have been able to do what we can.

We just got back from the “Matrix: Reloaded” at the IMAX theater in the Luxor. The screen is 7 feet tall and the sound blows you away. It was probably better that I saw the movie in there than in a regular, sub par audio movie theater.

We’ve been to many different hotels, picked up a few cups, taken lots of pictures, and been scorched by the sun way too many times. We had nice buffets last night and tonight and I got stuffed last night! (ask later for details, not pretty…)

The Grand Canyon was awesome. We were sitting outside for about an hour to see the sunset and it was amazing. I have about 20 pictures that I snapped of the sunset alone, maybe more. When I’m able to make the time and have Internet, we’ll upload some of them onto the website for everyone to see.

So meanwhile we’re on this trip, a few of my friends a moving away to other states. :( I hope I can catch y’all sooner than next summer because I love visiting friends in other states and areas that I’m not familiar with. If one of you are reading this, have a safe trip and be in touch soon! If you know someone who is moving away and might not have read this, remind them to read!

I have 24 hours of Internet access from this computer so I better get off before they charge me even more for access. Tomorrow, we see the roadside Dinosaurs (Pee Wee’s Big Adventure) and the Windmill Farm (Mac and Me) both located very close to Palm Springs. Then so the San Diego Zoo in two days!! Lots to do so catch next time!

Vegas baby

We’re in Vegas. Have fun staring at our picture of the welcome sign here. We’ll try to post more before we leave.
